Who doesn't love the idea of CHEAP Internet or Phone Service? Believe it or not, many households qualify for the government subsidized program called ACP - the Affordable Connectivity Program.
This is an FCC (Federal Communications Commision) benefit program that assists households meeting limited income criteria to obtain the broadband needed for work, school, healthcare and to stay connected. The $14.2 billion Affordable Connectivity Program has now served more than 11.5 million households.
The ACP program provides a discount up to $30 per month towards internet service or mobile service and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. If a household qualifies, there can also be provided a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer or tablet from providers that participate. There is a limit of one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.
